However, it seems that the times are changing, since some otome games are getting licensed in English.
As a mid-90s game it should come as no surprise that it’s a lot tougher than it looks even without the language barrier, but as surprising as it sounds, it is possible to play through the game with a translation app.
Whether I’d recommend it or not is a different story.
In general, taking the time to snapshot every line of dialogue means taking longer to progress through the game.
However, I was technically able to get the gist of the vast majority of it so I guess that’s a positive.
